After studying physiotherapy and osteopathy in France, Domitille decided to move to Canada in 2023, driven by a desire to discover new horizons.

Thanks to her dual training and experience, she offers personalized care tailored to each individual: infants, teenagers, pregnant women, and seniors all receive customized attention.

Passionate about her profession, Domitille does not limit herself to consultations in the clinic: she also participates in initiatives to raise public awareness of the many benefits of osteopathy, which go far beyond simple pain relief, to promote well-being and balance in everyday life.

What is Osteopathy ?

Discover the transformative benefits of osteopathy, a holistic approach to healthcare that not focuses only on the musculoskeletal system but the whole body from head to toes to improve overall well-being. Osteopaths (as their cousins Chiropractors or Massage Therapists) use hands-on techniques to diagnose, treat, and prevent a variety of conditions including back/neck pain, joint issues, headaches, sports injuries, pregnancy-related pain…

Osteopathy not only addresses symptoms but aims to target the root cause reducing inflammation, and improving mobility. This gentle, non-invasive therapy promotes long-term health and optimal function.

Choose osteopathy for personalized care that integrates seamlessly with your lifestyle, ensuring effective pain relief, improved posture, and enhanced physical performance.

How does an appointment work?

During your first appointment, the osteopath will begin with an in-depth discussion to understand the reasons for your consultation. Through targeted questions, they will explore your medical history, your lifestyle habits (diet, sleep, physical activity, work environment, etc.), as well as your psychological and social environment.

This comprehensive approach allows them to understand your situation in its entirety, both from a biomedical perspective and in terms of your psychological and social environment.

Following this interview, the practitioner performs a series of clinical tests to:

  • Identify the source and location of your pain or discomfort;

  • Identify triggering factors (movements, postures, stress, etc.);

  • Check that there are no contraindications to treatment;

  • Assess mobility restrictions, joint stiffness, muscle tension, possible swelling, etc.

Personalized treatment and advice Once the assessment has been completed, the osteopath treats the areas they deem to be related to your symptoms, using appropriate manual techniques. To optimize your recovery, they will also provide you with personalized advice (exercises, stretches, postural adjustments, lifestyle tips…) and, if necessary, recommendations to prevent recurrence.

The goal? To relieve your symptoms and support you on your journey to lasting well-being.

Thank you for your trust :)
