Is osteopathy covered by insurance?
Most insurance companies such as Blue Cross, Canada Life, Belair (Johnsson), SunLife, ManuLife, Desjardins, etc. cover osteopathy.
Consult your insurance company to find out what your coverage is.
Do you direct bill insurance?
We are currently awaiting approval from insurance companies for direct billing. For the time being, you will need to submit the invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Is osteopathy covered for veterans and RCMP?
Yes, with a prescription from your doctor and after approval from Medavie, the sessions are fully covered.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not charge cancellation fees, however if you do not show up for an appointment without notifying us in advance, we will charge 50% of the total price of the session, unless you reschedule within 7 days. If this happens a second time, the entire session will be charged.

Can I make an appointment if I am pregnant?
Yes, of course. Osteopathy is perfectly safe even for pregnant women and is recommended for the pain associated with it. The practitioner will adapt their approach to the stage of pregnancy.
Do you take care of children and babies?
Of course, we treat infants as well as older children and teenagers.
How should I prepare for the appointment?
There is no special preparation required before an appointment, however, for your comfort and to allow the practitioner to treat you as effectively as possible, it is recommended that you wear light, flexible clothing. You will be able to change at the clinic.
It is often recommended to use the restroom before the session and to avoid eating a heavy meal just before coming to the session for greater comfort during treatment.
Is it easy to park at the clinic?
Yes, we have free parking behind the building.
You can also park on the street, but parking is paid.
How does an osteopathy session work?

Are there any contraindications to osteopathy?
It is not recommended to consult an osteopath in cases of confirmed or suspected recent fractures or trauma, acute infection, active malignant or benign tumors, or blood clotting disorders (phlebitis, hemophilia). Consultation should also be avoided during flare-ups of inflammatory diseases.
Don't hesitate to ask your practitioner if you feel feverish or unwell.
The practitioner will review your medical history with you. Be sure to mention any medical conditions or illnesses you may have so that the treatment can be tailored to your needs.
